It’s been a while Kotaku. Long time user, first time in a while poster. I’m sure most of you don’t know me. I don’t think I’ve posted regularly poster here in over two years. Post college stuff was weird and I kinda fell out of all my online communities (besides Twitter).
Greetings all. I'm sure a good portion of you will barely know me, as I've been in a very uninspired space for the last year or so and have barely posted. However, I'm a long time TAY, and formerly Speak Up, participant. So hello to any new people I don't know.
Franchises I like: Legend of Zelda, Pokémon, Pikmin, Mario, Uncharted, Banjo-Kazooie, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Bioshock.
What's that, another Wii centric Last-Gen Heroes post? Well yeah, I only had a Wii until last year. That means that basically my entire last gen experience was with Nintendo's brilliant little white box. While I chronicled my favorite Wii exclusive game, and possibly my favorite game of all time in my last post, this…
As the Wii’s number one fan at one point, I feel as though it’s my duty to do at least one Last Gen Hero for my beloved little white box. It didn’t take long for me to decide which game I would choose for my first (and possibly only) entry in the series, as this game is also one of my favorite games of all time.…
Spoilers for Heavy Rain ahoy. If you haven't played it yet, don't read this. Or do, whatever.
SPOILERS for Heavy Rain and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons to follow. To hell with "statute of limitations" if you haven't played a game before, you haven't played it.
Hey, one of these. It's been a while guys. I'm still chipping away at my new deal, but it's coming along a lot slower than I had thought. Just to give you all a head's up on what it is, I'm going to be looking at notable games from a historical standpoint. Basically, did they add something to games other than good…
Hey, one of these. I believe my first on the new Kotaku style. Weird, huh? So I'm still tooling at my first proper one, which will be based around Pandora's Tower and Shadow of the Colossus, but I figured I'd get this mini one out today.
The person who owned Nostalgia before me turned the music down the entire way on the game itself. Who does that? Just turn the music on your DS off if you don't want to hear the noise.
Remind me to never post outside Speak Up again.
So I bought my first bottle of rum today. Not sure how I feel about it.
Anyone know if the LG Lucid is any good? I'm in the market for a new smart phone (ideally something cheapish) and I'm not thrilled with iPhones. The price of a Lucid is very appealing, $80, but I've read some very mixed reviews of it. I'd like to see if any Speak Up people have anything to say about it.
So I'm in the market for a bigger SD card for my 3DS. Nintendo's website says that some may not work with it, but doesn't list ay that don't. Anyone have experience with this, specifically ones that don't work? I was planning on just getting a Sandisk one, probably 32 GB.
Hey, I finally beat Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. I lost a lot of people in the final battle, but I didn't really care at that point. I just watched the best ending on YouTube so I can see what I missed.
I love that I have to enter a stupid captcha code when I post too frequently, but those spam bots post like crazy with no problem. This new commenting system works wonders.
Man, I really hate only having one HD TV. Playing Ni no Kuni on a SD TV is nigh impossible.
